I’m thankful for finding passion in an industry with such rich history. Things like this fragrance story on Into The Gloss is inspiring with its marriage of chemistry and fashion. Speaking of history, Revlon is reviving a cult classic product just in time for the holidays! Makeup artists would pay three figures for Skinlights on eBay after it was discontinued.
While I had never used Skinlights before, I can see why they are wild for it. This sheer illuminator corrects with just a hint of pigment. The photochromatic pigments bend and reflect light to minimize the appearance pores and fine lines. Crystals add a luminous glow. I love the way it brightens my winter skin – which I admit to being a little dull (time for some masking tonight!).
Revlon PhotoReady Skinlights Face Illuminator is available in Bare Light, Peach Light and Bronze Light. I’ve been using Peach Light and on my light-medium skin it is almost translucent. I can’t wait to pick up Bronze Light for a little more luminous color. I can’t find these online yet, but keep your eyes peeled for it on drugstore shelves.
