A Winter Skin Care Routine

A Winter Skin Care Routine on Belle Belle Beauty

I don’t know about you, international readers, but all of the United States this week is COLD COLD COLD. And with that comes heaters, wind burn, irritation and dry skin galore. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been fairly loyal to a skin care routine, and I must say my skin has weathered this fairly well. Here are the five all-starts getting me through the deep winter:

Avalon Organics Soothing Lip Balm Vanilla Rosemary: this organic lip balm contains essential oils and the lack of synthetics keeps my delicate lip skin from drying out right after application. Made in the USA.

TATCHA Ageless Enriching Renewal Cream: powered by the idea of circulation, this rich cream drives anti-aging ingredients deep into skin, nourishing and improving texture while reducing age spots – not to mention fostering a healthy glow.

SkinCeuticals Advanced Pigment Corrector: providing a little break from irritating retinol and hydroquinone, this stuff fights discoloration with alternative ingredients like Ellagic acid, Hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid and Salicylic acid. My skin is smooth and calm, not to mention getting more and more even.

La Mer The Eye Concentrate: an oldie but goodie, I’ve had this stuff in my stash for a couple years. I find this eye treatment to be the most conditioning. My skin is smoother and softer and thanks to minerals, dark circles are minimized. A true classic. (note: Double InCircle points through today at Neiman Marcus)

BeautyCounter The Face Oil: As a last step, I like to “seal” in moisture by using this on top of my TATCHA Cream. I’ve been using #3 Ylang Ylang & Wild Chamomile for a cozy, herbal scent. The oil absorbs quickly and lends to radiance. A couple drops in the evening for supercharged moisture or one drop under makeup in the AM for glowy skin.
