It isn’t cute, but unfortunately it is common. I have dry and sometimes flaky scalp and it sucks. But thanks to my dermatologist, I got a diagnosis and medicated shampoo to treat it when it flares up. It works but, man, it smells gross. Enter Kérastase Spécifique Bain Vital Dermo‑Calm which is my new favorite way to treat flakiness.
I have been using it since last summer. I recently rotated in another shampoo and noticed the dryness creep back in, so I am once again loyal to Dermo-Calm. The shampoo is silicone free and doesn’t weigh down strands. It is packed with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients to calm skin. Piroctone works to soothe itching.
