Nutrisystem Week 32

Nutrisystem Week 32 // Belle Belle Beauty

This week, I lost 2.6 pounds for a total weight loss of 36.2 pounds. Whoa! Where did that come from? After talking to the counselors last week and making changes they suggested, clearly it is making a difference! I am so thrilled to have this great breakthrough after a slow couple of weeks. And I am actually even more confident that I will be down the full 45 pounds before my big trip at the end of July.

I’ve been adding more snacks with protein and carbs into my diet and I think it is helping me fuel even more efficient workouts. I also seem to have more energy. A new favorite snack is apples with a bit of peanut butter – carbs and protein in one! Who knew adding more food would help speed weight loss? Just another reminder that food is fuel and eating the right things and portions is the key!

Ken Paves’ You Are Beautiful Signed Copy GIVEAWAY

Ken Paves' You Are Beautiful Signed Copy GIVEAWAY // Belle Belle Beauty

I’ve had my nose in Ken Paves’ new book, You Are Beautiful, for the past couple of weeks. While I always was a fan, I admit I didn’t know too much about his background. Wow – what a story. His Detroit roots and career journey are certainly inspirational. After an introduction to what Ken is all about, he dives in loads of easy beauty tips.

What makes this book different is Ken covers advice for all. He references his work with women of all ages, ethnicities, shapes, and sizes. I particularly love this time-saving styling tips and quick fixes in an emergency. He doesn’t stop there… the book also touches on makeup and clothes. Not to mention a little guest chapter by Sara Lucero, celebrity makeup artist for Stila Cosmetics (one of my absolute faves).
