It is rare that I can say I favor only one brand, but when it comes to makeup bags, Stephanie Johnson is it for me. They are fashionable, durable and so functional! And there is no better time than today to stock up. Due to a move and resulting space constraints, they are unloading some inventory at 50% off! Today through Friday, October 2nd, use code ‘sixteen’ at www.stephaniejohnson.com.
Some of my favorites on the current rotation:
The Tracy Carry-All is perfect if you are hauling a larger amount of cosmetics. I also love it to transport my lunch to and from work. The durable fabric is ideal in the case of spills and the Galapagos Grey makes for a chic and sophisticated look.
The Laura Large Trapiziod is the perfect size for my daily make up. It is also large enough to fit my brushes. Tinseltown Black is my new favorite Stephanie Johnson fabric – fun but still understated.
Next on my shopping list are new goodies from the Zodiac Collection! Such a great gift idea too!

Anyone else dreaming of the beach? The new collections from Stephanie Johnson have me wanting to pack my bags. While I chose some more neutral bags for my permanent collection, I wanted to share these colorful and cheerful prints today in the case anyone else needs a little tropical daydreaming. And stay tuned for what I added to my collection later this week.
Careyes is a secluded hideaway resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast and inspired the print found on the three bags in front. The vivid shades conjure a bohemian chic. And the ikat reminds of the Aztec culture. Mumbai, long a favorite, is most vibrant in turquiose. I love the sophisitication against the exotic metallic.

Stephanie Johnson did it again with a fabulous collection conjuring neon, organic textures, tropical paradises, and summer glamour. I just can’t get enough of these candy-colored Malibu bags from Stephanie Johnson. The crinkle patent comes in all these vibrant shades, cheering me up every time I look in my purse or luggage. The exterior is shiny and durable. They have an easy to clean sapphire liner and her signature gold studs. The hard part is deciding which to get! They have Aqua, Orange, Royal, Lime, Lemon and Coral in the following sizes:
- Large Flat Bag 9″ L x 7″ H
- Medium Flat Bag 7″ L x 5″ H
- Mini Pouch : 5 3/4″ L x 1 1/2″ W x 3″ H
- Passport Cover 7-7/8″ L x 5-5/8″ W
- Luggage Tag 3-1/2″ L x 4-5/8″ W
- Wristlet in Gold 5 1/2 ” L
I love that the bold colors help you remember what you packed in each bag. I’ve been putting lipsticks and compacts in my lemon mini pouch. My aqua large flat bag can hold all of my brushes, an eyelash curler and foundation. My coral medium flat bag holds my jewelry for a weekend away. Inspired by Karla, I am also carrying my large aqua bag as a clutch! This would also work great with a gold wristlet attached.
These aren’t available everywhere, so the best place to order is www.stephaniejohnson.com. Be forewarned, the orange is very vibrant and can overpower the coral, but looks fabulous with the blues.
