My face has been acting up lately. Not sure if it is the bonkers Oklahoma weather, stress or the chaos of skin care that I am constantly reviewing. Either way, I was up for a sort of “reset”. Even though it is designed for oily to combination skin, I am loving the Kiehl’s Limited Edition Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque.
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque is made with fairly-traded Amazonian White Clay from the Marajo Island. This “magic earth” is said to detoxify skin. Unlike other clay masks, I never feel like my skin is tight or dry. I apply a thin layer and leave on for 10 minutes. After, my skin is cleared and super softened. Because pores are unclogged, my skin has a renewed radiance.
So what makes this clay so special? Sourced on Marajo Island, the largest island surrounded by freshest water in the world, this clay is nourished by leaves, fruits and seeds from the rainforest. It is known as “magic earth” because the native inhabitants of the land have used this clay to protect skin against insect bites and even snake poison.
And now in honor of Earth Day, Kiehl’s has launched a limited edition art edition of the masque. The Limited Edition Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque series features Earth-inspired designs by socially conscious influencers, depicting their vision of social responsibility including Ashley Judd and Anthony Mackie. 100% of net profits up to $50,000 from the fourth Earth Day campaign will benefit Recycle Across America. RAA is a not-for-profit that works to educate and stimulate the environmental economy. These funds in particular will be used to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels to offer to select K-12 schools in the United States.

When someone says “iconic body lotion” there is nothing that I think of other than Kiehl’s Creme de Corps. This classic has been featured a couple times in limited edition form, but this limited edition twist might take the cake for me. For the holidays, Kiehl’s has launched a whipped version in Coriander and Grapefruit.
I’m a water girl. To me, there is nothing better than dipping my sandy feet into the ocean and basking on the beach. So, World Oceans Day is a celebration I can get behind. With EarthEcho International, H2O Plus is encouraging us to take care of this vital resource and natural beauty. H2O Plus will donate 10% of net sales from Restore Our Water Planet Shower Gelto EarthEcho International.
Like other H2O Plus shower gels, this formula is packed with vitamins and antioxidants to leave skin nourished and clean. Watercress Extract and Iceland Moss work to keep skin smooth while Aloe Vera locks in nutrients. The scent takes you seaside – clean and fresh. And the packaging couldn’t be more beachy: underwater illustrations and messages promoting the World Oceans Day cause.

I fell for Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line Reducing Concentratelast June when I was on the search for a Vitamin C serum. The best-selling product contains 10.5% Pure Vitamin C. This gem of an ingredient is one of our key tools in the fight against aging. Kiehl’s found that, over time, the formula had a “significant and progressive effect on ‘marionette lines’ around the mouth, ‘crow’s feet’ and sub-orbital wrinkles in the eye area as well as other facial lines and wrinkles. In addition, skin shows an improvement in texture, tone, and sallowness.” The formula was gentle on my skin and leaves a silky, soothing feeling. Read the full review here.
More about DonorChoose.org: public school teachers from across the country can post requests for their classroom, including computers, books, art supplies and other teaching materials. All projects on www.DonorsChoose.org/Kiehls will be science related, in a nod to Kiehl’s pharmaceutical and scientific heritage. In addition, all projects will also be from schools in the cities and towns in which Kiehl’s customers are located, so customers can search for and support their local teachers and students. Customers can search by location, school or subject to find projects and donate to those that most inspire them. Donors are then personally thanked with letters and photos from the teacher and students.
