Surprised I don’t have Scandinavian blood because I totally get “all things koselig, the Norwegian word for ‘cozy.'” Loved this essay about living in the Arctic Circle and seasonal affect disorder. I do believe enjoying the season is a mindset. Maybe I should embrace that idea while I bemoan this sweltering summer heat.

Nordstrom Anniverasary Sale – Beauty Buys!

Some lucky dogs have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary sale for a week (cardholders had exclusive access until today). But the good news is all the goodies have been restocked and are ready to get into your little paws. The sale is open to the public from today through 8/3. I think Nordstrom is totally unique in their beauty offerings. Many are exclusive to the sale AND to Nordstrom. Here are my picks and what I plan to stock up on (above NARS Cheek Palette):

No shortage of good times over here at Belle Belle. But I am paying for it with a very mild case of the sniffles today. Doesn’t help that we had almost a week below freezing and then it was in the 70s yesterday. Holy temperature swings. I even turned on my AC last night. I will never understand this Oklahoma weather. Either way, to celebrate spring-like conditions, I am reaching for kate spade new york ‘live colorfully’ parfum and slathering on the body cream. Talk about an instant cheer up!

Sometimes the best new technology comes from natural itself. Kate Somerville discovered the Dilo nut on recent travels and transformed it into an oil that has been a champion at improving signs of aging.
