Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Pressed Powder

Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Pressed Powder on Belle Belle Beauty

Thanks to a lot of hard work, my sun damage and hyper pigmentation has really begun to fade. With that, I am celebrating by wearing slightly less makeup. Some days, I can even get away with just a powder – yay! And what better way to change up the routine than with a fab new product from one of my favorite luxury lines – Koh Gen Do.

I’ve fallen hard for pressed powders over the last couple of years. Gone are the days of cakey matte finishes. This new Maifanshi Pressed Powder is one of the best iterations of the new generation powders. The product provides a “moist translucence” if that makes any sense. The refracted light creates the illusion of bare skin, camouflaging flaws. The powder is virtually undetectable on me, but provides just a subtle correcting without looking like makeup.

Most noticeably, this powder has two shades – a baby pink and white. The pink evens skin tone and can be used alone for a natural finish. The white highlights and can be mixed in for a more radiant look. I like like to mix both for my entire face and use the white on its own around the eyes on on cheek bones.

The formula is finely milled and contains emollients and hyaluronate to hydrate skin. Silk powder smooths skin and cuts shine. Shea butter, Jojoba seed oil and Olive squalane helps boost the skin barrier. Titanium Dioxide and Silica controls perspiration and sebum, while brightening skin.
