This week, I lost 2.9 pounds for a total weight loss of 31.9 pounds. WHOA! So excited to report a big number and blowing by a huge goal. After a couple slow weeks, I can identify with the quote above so much. While we might have some failures, the key is keeping after it for me in this journey. And it is so worth it.
This weekend, I am in Dallas for a conference and, for the first time since blogging, I feel confident and exuberant about picking out my clothes. Being around fashion has always been a joy for me. But pulling on those smaller jeans, a tighter dress and my old leather jacket feels so darn good.
Once again, Nutrisystem makes it a cinch for travel. I’ve been stocking up on the bars – favorites are Peanut Butter Granola and Trail Mix. And yes, I will go as far to say that the Thin Mint Crisp Bar is basically candy. So yum! They will be stocked in my purse for meals on the go and to avoid those last-minute travel-related hunger pangs.
